There are many resources on the internet to support learning outside of the classroom. See a selection of the school's favourites below. We are constantly looking for additional high-quality online learning resources to share with pupils and parents. Please send suggestions to office@miltonroad.cambs.sch.uk for us to review. Khan AcademyKhan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. They tackle maths, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Their maths missions guide learners from kindergarten to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps. They have also partnered with institutions like The British Museum, TATE, NASA, Pixar, and MIT to offer specialized content. |

TED-EdTED-Ed is TED’s youth and education initiative. TED-Ed’s mission is to spark and celebrate the ideas of teachers and students around the world. Everything they do supports learning - from producing a growing library of original animated videos, to providing an international platform for teachers to create their own interactive lessons. TED-Ed has grown from an idea worth spreading into an award-winning education platform that serves millions of teachers and students around the world every week. |

TynkerTynker is a creative computing platform where millions of kids have learned to program and built games, apps and more. Tynker offers self-paced online courses for children to learn coding at home, as well as an engaging programming curriculum for schools. Coding drives innovation from self-driving cars to robot-assisted surgery to social media. Coding allows kids to be creative: they can create projects that do really amazing things.
