The School Day
The playground is supervised from 8.40am so children should not arrive before this time.
The bell rings at 8.55am for children in Key Stage 2. Children gather in their class pods and follow their teacher into school.
The bell rings at 9.00am for children in EYFS and Key Stage 1. Children gather in their class pods and follow their teacher into school.
For security reasons, pod doors are locked as soon as children have been brought into school, so please make sure your child arrives in good time for the bell. Any child arriving late, for any reason, must enter through the main entrance and report for school at the reception desk.
All pupils take a 15 minute mid-morning break from 10:45am to 11:00am and Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 also have a mid afternoon break.
Lunch break for children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 runs from 12:00 (noon) to 1:00pm.
Lunch break for children in EYFS runs from 11:45am to 1:00pm.
The school day ends at 3:15pm for EYFS and Key Stage 1 children.
The school day ends at 3:20pm for Key Stage 2 children.
Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and younger Key Stage 2 children should be collected promptly by parents at the end of the school day. In the interest of safety, it is important to let the class teacher know of changes to collection arrangements.
