Scientists in action!
This week we started our new science topic, Forces and Magnets. Children spent some time thinking about what the word force actually means, along with what types of forces we use in every day life. We then set up our investigation to explore friction and its effect on a moving object (car). Children worked responsibly and respectfully with each other in groups to test how far a car traveled along a variety of surfaces, before then analsying their results to conclude which surface produced the least amount of friction. Here are some photos of us in action!
