Covid 19 Response: Risk Assessment & Systems of Control, Catch up Strategy
The school's Risk Assessments is reviewed regularly to reflect the latest guidance from The Department For Education, Public Health England and the Local Authority. Risk Assessments are written as a consultative exercise. They are shared with staff and governors for comment and feedback and published on the school's website. Milton Road's Risk Assessment is sent to the Local Authority to be signed off and it is shared with the teaching and non-teaching unions.
In light of Coronavirus the Risk Assessment for PGL aligns with the whole school risk assessment to mitigate transmission of Covid-19 in an educational setting.
Risk Assessment County Music Staff
The following is a list of Curriculum Policies that are reviewed by subject and faculty leaders in the school in partnership with Teaching & Learning Governors Committee. These are reviewed approximately every two years (by 31st October) or whenever significant changes are needed.
Human Resource & Personnel Policies
The following are HR & Personnel Policies. These are reviewed annually by the school's HR Lead and the Business and Operations team in partnership with the Governor Resources Committee.
Safeguarding and Child Protection Policies
The following are Safeguarding and Child Protection Policies which are reviewed annually by the Deputy Headteacher in the Summer Term in partnership with the Co-Chair of Governors and the Safeguarding Governor.
These must be read by all staff and volunteers as part of induction and in preparation for the start of every new academic year.
Business and Communication Policies
The following is a list of Business and Communication Policies reflecting the operational activities of the school and its wider remit in the community. These policies are reviewed annually in the Spring Term by the School Business Manager and HR and Office Manager in partnership with the Governors Resources Committee.
