Reading Recovery Teacher

The Every Child a Reader Project is being undertaken in consultation with the Primary National Strategy.

 

We are looking for someone who:

  • is an excellent classroom teacher
  • has a thorough understanding of high quality teaching and learning
  • has an in-depth knowledge of the National Primary Strategy
  • has excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong commitment to continuing professional development

  • Has the equivalent of two years of recent ,successful teaching experience at early primary level
  • has an understanding of high quality teaching and learning

Kidscape –Breakfast &After school club

DEPUTY PLAYLEADER

 

We are looking for a Deputy Playleader to help run our friendly after-school club at Milton Road Primary School, Cambridge. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 3 in Playwork  or a childcare equivalent qualification. Experience in a coordinator or leadership role is desirable. We will however look favourably at experience in other childcare sectors.

‘Kidscape is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.  The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced CRB check’

Hours are school term Monday to Friday 2:45 - 6.15 pm plus morning, breakfast club cover, 7.30 - 9.30am to be agreed. (NOTE: Breakfast club sessions can be specified or changed depending on the requirements of the club. Some additional flexible hours may be required for planning and meetings. The holiday entitlement is five weeks - half terms and one week at Christmas plus one week at Easter. The Deputy will be paid for 42 weeks of the year, and will not be required to work during school holidays

The Deputy Manger’s salary will be £8.50 to £10 per hour, depending on relevant childcare experience and qualifications.

Our team needs vibrant, hands-on play workers to help run our small, friendly after-school club at Milton Road Primary School, Cambridge.

We are looking for someone who is very caring, intuitive, energetic, enthusiastic and creative. Ideally you will have experience working with children and childcare with an NVQ Level 2 in playwork or be working towards it.

Hours are school term Monday to Friday 2:45 - 6.15 pm plus morning, breakfast club cover, 7.30 - 9.30am to be agreed. (NOTE: Breakfast club sessions can be specified or changed depending on the requirements of the club) Excellent modern facilities, training opportunities and depending on your experience, you will be paid £7.00 to £8.50 per hour.
